Isla San Jose, is located in Las Perlas archipelago, most of the island is covered with rainforest.
The Last Resort to open its doors in the Pearls Archipelago was the beautiful Hacienda del Mar located in San Jose Island, the second largest island in the archipelago. San Jose Island is surrounded by approximately 57 beaches with radiant white sands and gold, turquoise waters and lush vegetation that covers practically the entire island.
