Travel to Aguadulce
Name like that by the Spanish colonists for "sweet water" that they found there, Aguadulce is a nice city of Coclé's province.
This city also is known as the land of the Salt and the Sugar.
What to do in Aguadulce
- Visit the great refinery of sugar and know the whole process that is realized for the production of sugar.
- Visit the Museum of the Salt and the Sugar, which is located in a historical building that dates back to the 19th century.
- Know the beautiful beaches that bathe Aguadulce's coasts, La Caleta, with white and gray sand and its pretty swamps to both sides, the viewing-point of the salao, to take a look to the broad landscape of the beach and El Rompio, the neighborhood of the fishermen of the Salao.
- Among its mountains we can observe that it is the home of the national flower of Panama, a so called orchid "The Flower of the Holy Spirit" (La Flor del Espíritu Santo).
